Dr Borden is the BEST of the BEST at what he does. I had a botched prior shoulder surgery from another surgeon who shall remain nameless. After asking friends & family for recommendations… Dr Borden was the unanimous vote! I went to him for a second opinion since 6 months after my first surgery I was still in so much pain with limited range of motion. After reviewing my MRI & post op notes Dr Borden noted that I had several other tears that were not addressed in my first surgery! We opted to go in again to correct the initial operation & the other tears. LONG story short, he had to revise the prior surgery since the hardware had become loose & repaired the other tears working his magic to entire time. I am now 11 weeks out with minimal pain & almost 90% range of motion. In a few weeks I will be having my other shoulder fixed as well…this is how great Dr Borden is! He takes his time with consults, he clearly advises of your options & does not push for invasive procedures right away. I have done PT & injections with the new issue that is on-going so now we have decided on another surgery all together. His assistant Andora is the sweetest. Their team make you feel comfortable, they address all your questions & you leave knowing you are one step closer to feeling better. His private surgery center SAS – (located in the same building as his practice) is state of the art & he has a great group of OR nurses & anesthesia doctors in-house. My PT has also been amazing (also in the same building) with Franklin @ Evolution Sports Medicine. Franklin was my therapist at my prior surgeon’s office & he left as well to join this reputable group. I highly recommend Dr Borden as he is the BEST the South Bay has to offer.
